Bessie Webb, eighty-one,
of Healdton, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at
the Healdton Nursing Home. Bessie was born January 18, 1927, in
Duncan, Oklahoma, to Lee and Lottie Long. Bessie was raised in
the Velma, Oklahoma, area, graduating from high school there.
She married Walter Webb June 22, 1948. They lived in the Fox,
Oklahoma, area until 1974, when they moved to Healdton. Bessie
was a devoted homemaker and a member of the Healdton Pentecostal
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her daughter-in-law Vicki Webb.
Survivors include: four sons - Bill Webb of Healdton, OK, Jim Webb and his wife Carlma of Healdton, OK, Earl Webb and his wife Donna of Wilson, OK, and Jim Webb and his wive Beverly of Healdton, OK; six grandchildren - Scott Webb and his wife Katrina of Healdton, OK, Jason Webb and his wife Patty of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Webb of Healdton, OK, and Randy Webb of Healdton, Bradley Webb of Wilson, OK, TeLisa Webb of Healdton, OK, and Aaron Webb of Healdton, OK; two step-grandsons - James Newell and his wife Tosha of Wilson, OK, and Billy C. Newell and his wife Mandy of Portsmouth, VI; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters - Olla May Dulworth of Duncan, OK, and Ethel Couch of Duncan, OK.
Graveside services for Mrs. Webb will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 20, 2008, at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Quenton Newton officiating. Services are under the direction on Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton.
