Billy Floyd Burns

Billy Floyd Burns of Healdton passed away March 29, 2009 near Ardmore,  Ok., due  to an automobile accident. He was born July 21, 1969 in Ardmore, Ok. ,  to Opal Sue Smith.  He attended school in Graham and Wilson, graduating from Wilson High.  Billy married his girlfriend and best friend of 10 years, Heather Tadlock on October 29, 2005 in Healdton.  He was an accomplished guitarist and a master technician.  There was not a guitar broke that he could not repair, and it always sounded better after he was done with it.  He loved to play in his band Kountry Klassix the country band with a touch of old rock.  He deeply cared for their members and the music they produced.  He was employed for Kleen Well Service as a well service technician,  a job that he truly enjoyed.  In his spare time he liked to camp, hunt and fish. Billy was an avid collector of guns.  A truly good guy, he will be missed.

Billy was preceded in death by his mother Opal Sue Burns and father in law L.D. Tadlock.

He is survived by his wife of the home Heather Burns – one sister Martha Jean Morgan of California – mother in law   - Robin Tadlock of Healdton.

Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday April 2, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Travis Kelley will be officiating.
