Eddie Lee Auld

Services for Eddie Lee Auld 70, of Gordonville, Tx., and former longtime residence of Healdton will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with Brother John Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Ringling Memorial Cemetery.

Eddie was born on January 28, 1943 in Ringling, Ok. to Perry Lee and Ola Mae McLain Auld. He passed away at his home on Saturday January 11, 2014. He was raised in Ringling where he attended school, he then enlisted in the United States Army serving from 1960 to 1963 in the 71st Artillery Hot Missile in Korea and during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After honorably being discharged he moved back to Ringling and married the former Scotta Blevins on November 4, 1961 in Waurika, OK. Together they made their home in Moore, Ok. where Eddie was employed by Unit Parts. In 1973 they moved to Healdton, OK. and Eddie was employed by Uniroyal Tire Plant. Working there until 1991 when he retired due to his health. Together with Scotta they owned and operated Scotta's Convenient Store. In 2005 they moved to Lake Texhoma where he lived the remainder of his life. Eddie loved his boys deeply as he did all of his grandchildren and the rest of his family. He enjoyed skeet shooting with his sons, fishing tournaments with his stepfather, hunting and driving his classic cars. His was of the Assembly of God faith.

He is survived by his wife Scotta of the home – Mother and Stepfather Ola Mae and Allen Taylor of Ardmore, Ok. - sons and daughters in law – Brent and Tonya Auld of Gordonville, Tx. - Tracy and Tricia Auld of Healdton, Ok. – Jason and Monica Auld of Enos, Ok. Grandchildren Aaron, Madison, Katye, Kolby, Morgan, and Ethan. Numerous nieces and nephews who love him very much.

He was preceded by his Father Perry Lee Auld and one grandson Eric Auld.

Serving as pallbearers are Johnny King – Dee Ellis – Donald Veal – Chad Puckett – Mike Puckett – Jeb Jones.
