Ester Louise Stewart Griffin

Services for Ester Louise (Stewart) Griffin, 79 of Healdton, Oklahoma are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Roberts Funeral Home Chapel in Healdton, Oklahoma with her son Dan Stewart and Bro. Danny Huntsman officiating, internment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Healdton, Oklahoma.

Louise was born December 7, 1932 in Robeline, Louisiana, to Estes and Mary Viola Self Green; she departed this life at her home in Healdton, Oklahoma, on August 25, 2012, Louise was raised in the Many, Louisiana area, she moved to Healdton after marring Howard Stewart, the love of her life, on October 13, 1950. On June 30, 1963 Louise accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior being baptized in the Shell Street Church of Christ where she was a faithful member until her death. In 1995 she married Roland Griffin and followed him to Oregon until his retirement, at which time they returned to her home in Healdton. Louise was a loving mother to her children, always encouraging each one to follow their dreams and their Lord. Louise's passions included blue grass music, fishing, hunting and camping. After Roland's death in 2011, her daughter, Kay, became her primary care giver, enabling her to live out her days at home. Louise's last days were spent surrounded by her children and the loving care of Faith Hospice to whom we, the family, are so grateful.

She was preceded in death by her parents Estes and Mary Green, husbands, Howard Stewart and Roland Griffin

She is survived by her brother, Billy Dean Green and wife Renda of Dickson, Oklahoma, children, Allen and Mary Stewart of Mena, Arkansas, Kay White of the home and Mike White of Big Fork, Arkansas, Dale and Susie Stewart of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Dennis and Tami of Healdton, Oklahoma, Dan and Carla Stewart of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and a host of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are grandsons: Glynn Stewart, Richard Lyle, Tim Stewart, Zac Stewart, Josh Rangel, Dan Stewart Jr. and Walt Stewart Honorary pallbearers are remaining grandchildren.
