Opal Margaret Mizer Wilburn

Services for Opal Margaret Mizer Wilburn, 76 of Ardmore , formerly a long time resident of Healdton will be 2:00 PM Monday October 18, 2010 at the First Assembly Of God Church in Healdton, with Rev. Ron McCaslin, Rev. Ralph Adcock and the Pastor, Rev. Quinton Newton officiating. . Burial will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton. Opal was born April 19, 1934 in Drumright, Ok. to Noah and Ethel Mizer. She departed this life on October 14, 2010 at Mercy Memorial Hospital in Ardmore .

She was raised in Drumright, Ok., where she attended school. At a young age, she met and married her childhood sweetheart, Bill Joe Wilburn in Drumright, where they attended the same church. In 1957 they moved to Healdton, where they raised their three daughters. Opal worked for many years and was known and loved by a host of friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother, nanny and friend, She also attended and was a member of the Assembly Of God Church for many years. Opal will always be fondly thought of, and greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by parents, two sisters, Mary Ellen Cox and Geneva Catherine Dyer.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of the home, three daughters, Martha Snell and husband Bob, Sand Springs, Ok, Mary Muncy and husband Guy, Ardmore and Sharon Nichols and husband Ray, Ardmore . One sister, Jan Noltensmeyer and husband Bob, Cushing , Ok. Seven grandchildren, Cathy Johnson and husband Jason, Mustang, Ok, Stephanie Hurst, Sand Springs, Ok, Jason Snell and wife Erin, Cushing, Ok.,Danny Woulfe and wife Lacy , Yorkville, Illinois, Christie Lamb and husband Steven, Okla. City, Gretchen Bruner and husband Brandon, Milwaukie, Wisconsin, Rob Nichols, Ardmore and eight great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jason Johnson, Steven Lamb, Jason Snell, Danny Woulfe, Rob Nichols and Eddie Dyer. Services are under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton. Family will receive friends from 2-4 today at the funeral home.
