Paul Newman Faught
Services for Paul Newman Faught, 88, of Wilson, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Friday May 25, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Wilson, with Elder Randy Taylor and Wayne Burns officiating. Interment will follow at the Bomar Point Cemetery.
Paul was born August 20, 1929, in Bodcaw, Arkansas to Loyed Newman Faught and Ruby Hollamen. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday May 22, 2018, at the Healdton Hospital. Paul was raised in Mena, Arkansas. He married Lolita Fay Gipson October 27, 1967 in Ada, Oklahoma. They made their home in Madill, Oklahoma for seven years, then moved to Wilson, making their home permanent. Paul was a truck driver and gauger for Chevron, retiring in 1987. He loved his Lord, loved and adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, working on his farm, bailing hay and enjoyed his John Deere tractors. He will be dearly missed.
Paul is preceded in death by: his parents and stepmother Bedah, who raised him from the age of four; two sisters - Geneva Simpson, Juanita Brawley; infant son David Lynn Faught; two grandchildren - Tana Sparkman and Loyed Dean Thrift.
He is survived by: his loving wife of the home; three Daughters; Patsy Russell and husband Bobby of Durant, OK, Sharon Musgrove and husband Leonard of Wilson, OK. and Alesia Wright and husband Tim of Ardmore, OK; three sons - Paul Ray Faught of Ardmore, OK, Gary Faught of Wilson, OK, and Larry Faught of Arlington, TX; three sisters -Tiney Holder of Mena, AR, Flora Burns of Mena, AR and Lavonda Rogers of Texarkana, AR; three brothers - Loyed Wayne Faught of West Covina, CA, Dan Faught of Comanche, OK; and Allen Faught of Deer Park, TX; sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and thirteen great great grandchildren,
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons. Visitation will begin Thursday at 1:00 PM. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 that evening at Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton. You may send your condolences online to www.robertsfuneralhomes.us.
